December 3 at 4:30pm – Bend’s Community Tree Lighting: It’s back! Lighting the tree last year virtually was not the same as sharing the moment with you gathered around! This year’s tree lighting festivities start at 4:30pm at the top of Drake Park by the Commons Cafe & Taproom. Santa and Mayor Russell will countdown and light the tree at 5:28pm. Local favorites, the Commons Cafe and Beach Hut Deli, will have warm fires, delicious drinks and are the perfect place to gather with family and friends.
December 4 at 10am – Ugly Christmas Sweater Fun Run: Run up the road to our neighbors, Sisters, Oregon, for the Ugly Christmas Sweater Fun Run Registration is FREE with a $25 suggested donation to benefit the Circle of Friends. Participation is fun, and running in your best ugly Christmas sweater is even better!
December 4 at 12pm – 2021 Bend Christmas Parade: After the Fun Run, head back for Bend’s most beloved tradition of 30 years, the Christmas Parade, is back again this year! This year’s theme fits how we feel – Christmas: Better Together (because Christmas is ALWAYS better when shared in community with friends and family!) Our favorite party band, Precious Byrd will join Santa along the route. You’re invited to join us too, starting at 12pm!
December 10 at 4pm – Cheers for Charity Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl: We all know Bend knows how to gather for fun, festivities and to raise money for charity. Plan your outfit now because the ugliest sweater is the dress code for the night; check-in at the Commons Cafe & Taproom between 4-6pm to pick up your free drink tickets and swag to enjoy the Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl. The coolest bars and pubs provide the brews, and those sporting the ugliest sweater can earn free drinks from each establishment along the route.
